Experience Okinawa's traditional bullfighting culture
A Moment of Power and Bonding
Bullfighting in Okinawa is a traditional culture that has continued since the Edo period. It is deeply rooted in the bonds of the islands and the lives of the local people. Unlike Sumo wrestling on the mainland or bullfighting in Spain, bullfighting in Okinawa is a "head-to-head" style of bullfighting, which originally started as a contest between bulls used for farming and gradually became a festival or annual event. It was originally started as a contest of strength between bulls used for farming, and gradually became a festival or annual event. It is especially popular on the main island of Okinawa and the surrounding islands, and is still passed down to the next generation as a traditional culture.

Opening Act
The opening act will be a live performance by a local Okinawan folk song artist. Okinawan folk songs are traditional music deeply imbued with the island's rich nature, people's lives, and history. In this live performance, visitors can enjoy music with a rich local flavor, using Okinawa's unique instrument called the sanshin (three-stringed instrument) and drums with a rich sense of rhythm. For tourists, it will be a special time to experience Okinawan culture and feel connected to the local people. Please pay attention to the opening of the festival to feel the "song" and "spirit" of Okinawa.

The program is easy to understand for bullfighting beginners, and is packed with information that will make the actual bullfighting more enjoyable for spectators.
